Iran: 57 Children Killed As U.S. And Israel Bombs School

Children are the first casualties of Trump’s Iran attack. The Wall Street Journal reported hours ago that 40 children were killed by American and Israel bombs. But a Fox News outlet reported updated casualties, with as many as 57-60 children were killed after U.S. and Israel bombs hit the school.

The Guardian: No Authorization, No Legality

Trump’s war on Iran was launched with Israel, with no authorization from Congress.

The Guardian reported early this morning:

“The first war of Donald Trump’s Board of Peace era has begun – an unprovoked attempt at regime change in collaboration with Israel, with no legal foundation, launched in the midst of diplomatic efforts to avert conflict, and with minimal consultation with Congress or the American public.”

Reactions to Trump’s War

The negative reaction to Trump’s Iran war was swift, both inside and outside the United States. One European outlet called the U.S. and Israel actions an “illegal war of choice.”

Many reactions are that Trump’s latest war is an “unprecedented military campaign against Iran, in violation of international law.” Here are a few of the many responses to Trump taking such extreme actions. AOC weighed in:

Media outlets noted Trump is choosing to over his war at his favorite insecure location, Mar-A-Lago, former Secretary of Transportation Buttigieg posted:

The President has launched our nation and our great military into a war of choice, risking American lives and resources, ignoring American law, and endangering our allies and partners. It does nothing to help with the urgent problems here at home that Americans face every day.

Most Spineless Republicans Support Trump’s War

While AOC, Buttigieg and many others have a backbone, the spineless Republicans are in lock step with their dear leader. Except for the only GOP congressman to go against Trump, Rep. Thomas Massie. Fox News reported Massie joined Democrats in opposing the U.S. and Iran Strikes.

According to The Hill,

“Republicans on Capitol Hill were quick to rally behind President Trump after he announced the U.S. military and Israeli forces launched joint strikes on Iran early Saturday morning.”
