On Wednesday, Trump posted, “86′ is a mob term for ‘kill him.’ They say 86 him! ’86 47′ means ‘kill President Trump,’” FACTUAL DEFINITION OF TO “86”: “To throw someone out, or ban someone from an establishment, usually a bar or a restaurant. More generally, it means to get rid of, reject, or cancel something. The term originated in the 1930s as restaurant slang.
Nowhere in The Godfather, the greatest mafia movie of all time, was killing someone referred to as “86” someone. Phrases like ” to whack” someone or ” sleeping with the fishes” were commonly used to represent mafia killings, but to “86” ¹was never used for murder. Trump’s mental decline is causing his lies to become more of a humiliation than a successful strategy.
Trump is obsessed with prosecuting and jailing those who oppose him, especially targeting those involved in the 2016 Russia probe and those who prosecuted his Jan 6th insurrection. Despite the horrible state of the economy and the affordability crisis, Trump prefers to waste taxpayer money on revenge prosecutions instead of lowering healthcare costs, making housing more affordable, and funding social programs for children, older people, and people with disabilities. We should ask Trump voters how does any of the Trump ” drunken sailor” spending help them, such as:
The Trump Iran war costing taxpayers approximately $ 1 billion per day
Excessive, unnecessary ICE raids brutalizing both Americans and immigrants
Buying detention camps
Building a $400 million dollar ballroom
Refurbishing the Qatar jet bribe for $200 million
Gold plating the interior of the White House
Excessive golf trips
His $90 million bomb of a military parade for his birthday
Costs for putting his name and image on buildings and monuments
If prosecuting his opponents and pretending they are out to murder him is taking up Trump’s mental space, we are screwed as a country.
