Special Envoy for Peace and private investor Jared Kushner — otherwise known as the guy no one voted for who couldn’t pass a security clearance check if his life depended on it — has jetset his way around the globe at the exact moment everything he’s touched has gone to Hell.
Jared’s wife, Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump, recently shared new photos of their family’s Icelandic getaway that the folks over at Popular Information couldn’t help but notice coincided with the complete and utter collapse of everything Jared Kushner has stuck his finger in, in connection to his official capacity as a foreign policy negotiator within his father-in-law’s struggling administration.
In a brutal analysis that just went public on Popular Information, the publication aims for Kushner’s less-than-stellar track record.
“It has not been going well,” their new analysis blisters. “Since Trump’s October 2025 speech, the hotspots in Kushner’s portfolio have all deteriorated. Kushner has guided the United States into a substantially worse strategic position. In all cases, the prospects for a lasting peace are further away.”
“None of this seems to be bothering Kushner. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, the fighting in Ukraine has intensified, and Israel is rejecting American leadership in Gaza. Meanwhile, Kushner is taking a family vacation in Iceland.”
Kushner has taken a heavy hand in every piece and part of foreign policy within his father-in-law’s administration, ranging from negotiations surrounding Israel and Gaza to the ongoing war with Iran to the never-ending war against Ukraine by Russia — every single one of which has noticeably deteriorated into utter chaos over the course of recent weeks.
Yet Ivanka Trump is bragging about soaking up “Iceland’s scenery” without an ounce of shame to her name.
I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised, though. Jared Kushner is no stranger to explosive failure.
Before dipping his toes into the pool of politics on his daddy-in-law’s coattails, Kushner was at the helm of his family’s real estate business; the very same business he very nearly bankrupted in 2007 when he purchased the Manhattan skyscraper at 666 Fifth Avenue for a whopping $1.8 billion, only for the building’s value to completely collapse within the financial crisis. He went on to serve as a senior advisor in Donald Trump’s first presidential term and, following Donald’s 2020 election loss, launched Affinity Partners, a private equity firm that raised billions upon billions of dollars from sovereign wealth funds in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
It’s pretty safe to say that Jared Kushner simply could not care less how any of this shakes out.
