They ignore that the word abortion is not included in the Bible. They also ignore the Constitution, which created the clause separating church and state, meaning “keep religious beliefs out of politics, governing, and lawmaking.” They also ignore that the broader birth control issue could and should involve restrictions on their reproductive freedom choices. They are also clueless that if women’s reproductive freedoms continue to get chipped away at by white nationalist Christian elected officials, their reproductive rights will also go away when a woman gains executive power.
