THE FOLLOWING RADICAL CHANGES AND NEEDED ADDITIONS TO THE CONSTITUTION SHOULD BE PURSUED TO PROTECT AMERICA AGAINST ANOTHER FUTURE DICTATOR PRESIDENT:
CHANGE THE LAWS. THEY FAILED US:
The power of the presidency should be reduced, not expanded
Eliminate the Electoral College
Eliminate lifetime judicial appointments
Eliminate the majority and minority leaders in Congress, and set term limits
Limit campaign donations to 500.00 from any individual or company
Make convicted felons ineligible to be president
Require the Supreme Court to have an equal amount of justices from both parties
Allow for recall elections if an elected official is found lying, taking bribes, or breaking their oath of office.
Require presidential candidates to take a Constitutional proficiency test.
Require the Courts to immediately hear cases that involve presidential overreach, obstruction of jusice, and violations of the Constitution.
No longer allow a presidential candidate to choose the vice president. It neuters the power of the 25th Amendment
If a majority of polled Americans reject the actions of a president, a recall election of both the president and vice president should be called.
There should be no immunity from prosecution for the U.S. president
Any president found to break the Emoluments Clause should be suspended for 6 months and forced to return all gifts
Any Attorney General who acts as the President’s attorney should be disbarred
Require presidential candidates to reveal tax returns and un-redacted medical records
Stop paying for presidential hobbies and vacations
Limit the First Lady and President’s power to transform the structure of the White House in ways that disrespects our American traditions and history.
