When you read about the racist, right-wing, white nationalist, anti-respect-for-the-law that personifies Laura Loomer, you can understand Trump’s attraction to her. She is a female version of Trump’s sociopathy and narcissism, and his commitment to an autocratic, one-party America. Bill Maher and others have speculated on an affair between Trump and Loomer, based mainly on his reputation for having affairs and the influence she has on him. No doubt he is enamoured by her influencer status on the internet.
No former U.S. president has ever allowed a government outsider with fringe, anti- democracy views to influence and control any decision related to congressional or military operations. ● Posed as Clinton supporter and attempted to “entrap” campaign workers into accepting illegal cash donations in July 2015.
● Convinced a group of undocumented immigrants from a Home Depot parking lot to jump the fence with her at Nancy Pelosi‘s Napa, California, home. The group set up a tent on Pelosi’s lawn to protest immigration before being removed by police.
● On January 30, 2019, Loomer and others jumped the wall surrounding the California Governor’s Mansion in Sacramento. They wore Mexican serapes and sombreros, with one wearing a large false mustache, and said they were protesting Governor Gavin Newsom‘s stance on immigration.
● Due to outrageous, rule and law- breaking behaviors, Loomer has been banned from Twitter ( only Musk re- instated her), Facebook, Medium, Paypal, Go Fund Me, Lyft, Uber, and Instagram.

● Falsely claimed the Parkland school and Sante Fe High School shootings were staged by “crisis actors” ( what about the dead bodies and funerals?)
● Falsely claimed the October 2018 mail bombings were done by Democrats
● After the 2022 Buffalo shooting, which was carried out by a white supremacist, Loomer falsely claimed that the shooting was a hoax perpetuated by the Democratic Party in an attempt to start a race war. Loomer further suggested that the federal government was complicit in the shooting.
● In September 2024, Loomer promoted the Springfield, Ohio, cat-eating hoax, lying that the city is filled with 20,000 cat- hating Haitians.”
● Following the 2025 shootings of Minnesota legislators, Loomer falsely accused Minnesota Governor Tim Walz of being responsible for the shootings, saying that “Walz’s goons are now assassinating lawmakers who support legislation Walz opposes.”
There are themes in Loomer’s commentary on these and hundreds of other incidents that should disturb every American political party member. She targets groups of people, such as Democrats, Muslims, or any opponent of Trump, in an exaggerated, vilifying manner that incites hatred and violence. Like Trump, she also lies on issues where the lies are easily proven false. She and Trump share the view that their base is gullible and under their complete control. Surprisingly, most Trump supporters don’t realise they are being duped and used to harm American democracy.
