Watching the Secretary of Defense testify to Congress today was disturbing. He either ass- kissed Trump, lied, withheld facts or didn’t know answers to basic questions related to the war. He was arrogant, combative and unimpressive.We should be protesting in the streets by the millions against the rogue, partisan Trump Justices. Racist, misogynistic, autocratic rulings are their specialties.The Oval Office made King Charles feel right at home with its gaudy gold opulence. Trump has desecrated the simplicity and beauty of this historical office, and as soon as he leaves, the changes will be reversed. I wonder how many healthcare premiums could have been paid with the money Trump wasted on gold-plating thee People’s House.
King Charles’s comments about the Magna Carta were perfectly delivered at a time when America’s Republican Party is governing like an autocracy. It was a big, beautiful slap in the face to Trump.
