Sullivan County is located on the northeastern border with Kentucky. They do not seem to like surveillance cameras. And it’s safe to say that the Flock Safety CEO is not popular in rural Tennessee.

BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — A Thursday night Sullivan County Commission work session that was called to discuss the use of Flock cameras in Sullivan County turned heated after a county commissioner called for the public hanging of Flock Safety’s CEO, Garrett Langley.
What started as a civil discussion turned heated following those comments made by Commissioner Joe Carr.
“I believe that Flock right now is one of the most hated companies in America,” Carr stated during the meeting. “They are one of the most corrupt companies in America. And, quite frankly, sir, I don’t think we can make America great again without hanging your CEO publicly for treason.”
Commission Chairman John Gardner immediately interrupted Carr.
“Mr. Carr, we’re not going to threaten violence to anybody,” Gardner said.
The comments were made after Carr asked several questions to a Flock Safety representative about the use of the cameras.
